You're A Star, In nobody's eyes but mine!!!

An incoherent post expressing the anguish of a 24 year old single guy....

My life has become extremely monotonous, I feel like I am doing the exact same thing everyday and I am contemplating shooting myself in the head just to differentiate this day from the day before it.One of my friends pointed out that I need to fall in love to make my life more interesting. Blessed with the looks of an ogre and the sense of humor of Adolf Hitler, I wonder if I will ever find my Fiona.I did a little bit of soul searching to understand my ineptitude with girls.

Falling in love is one of the most basic human needs, right after food, clothing and internet. I always wonder how people make the transition from "Strangers" to "Friends" to "Love you" to "I'm in love with you". I've been down that road once but it had more to do with cupid challenging himself than my natural charm and appeal. For some strange reason, I lose interest in people very quickly, whenever I find someone attractive, I do the whole Uday Chopra routine in Dhoom and that's pretty much it.

Some of my friends have managed to find the perfect girl (at least they claim to have done so) and others are harassing girls who have rejected them. Love is a drug, that blinds people, awkward conversations seem romantic and even the most mundane of traits of a loved one appear wonderful. Things are so much clear and simple in third person mode ( except in video games) I can come up with a hundred reasons for X dumping Y or X choosing Z over Y, but in Y's perspective he is the only person perfect for X and he is pretty sure that he can keep X happy for the rest of her life.

Indian cinema has always depicted love in an optimistic way, guy sees a girl, falls in love instantly, the girl resists initially and later reveals that her father is friends with Osama. In real life the girl would try to resist forever and later start an argument on how you don't take her seriously. There's nothing worse than Telugu cinema, Damn you Telugu cinema for showing that ugly guys have a chance with "intelligent, beautiful, innocent and wise" girls ( wonder if such a combination is possible)

On a serious note, I think love needs a little drama, two happy people rarely fall in love, one of them needs to be unhappy and one of them needs to rescue the other (Of course there will always be hare-brained people, who only exist to woo a specimen of the opposite sex). Love needs time, lots and lots of it, people don't become close to one another over night, it takes years to understand and ignore the flaws of the person you love. Maybe I've always believed in a fairytale version of love, in which the right girl walks into your life and everything falls in place . Life isn't a fairytale and I need to reach out a little bit more to have my own happy ending. Any girls interested????? ( A useless attempt considering the popularity of this blog)

Forward this post to atleast 10 girls in the age group 20 to 25. If you do so you will find the love of your life during the next lunar eclipse, else you will step on dog shit tomorrow.

I wonder whether I step too tomorrow!! I'd rather be careful than forwarding this!!!

Anyways on a seriuos note, and being frank...

What ever telugu cinema shows is correct and for you to get in to that situation all you need to have is luck!!!!!! reaised to the power hundred thousand. Since you wont see a girl in mangalore, by chance she appears in kakinada in a movie hall just in your front seat, then in Delhi: she happens to be your neighbour and suddenly you find out that she is your far lost uncle's daughter. And more over she happens to be beautiful, intelligent, innocent and wise.

I guess you have that luck. All the best!

The above post tells you, better stop believing on luck and find a girl, who is loyal to YOU! and wise. Thats great!!
